Al-Insan was founded by a group of Myanmar-born working professionals in Singapore who are committed to donating a small percentage of their monthly income to help the needy in Myanmar.
Al-Insan is unaffiliated with any religious/ethnic groups or political parties in Myanmar and does not take donations from other organizations.
There are three main areas Al-Insan team has focused on. They are
(1) Helping the refugees in Myanmar.
(2) Providing free education and funding for education
(3) Protecting and creating awareness of a greener environment.
We have about 15 contributing members who pledge to donate a small portion of their monthly income.
Al-Insan is based in Singapore therefore, you must reside in Singapore to be eligible. However, we could help you arrange your donation if you are not in Singapore. We do have a handful of donors outside of Singapore. Also, it would be best if you were comfortable presenting your source of income.
There is no commitment but once you have decided to join our cause, we urge you to contribute regularly. If you have decided to leave, you can do it anytime so. If you are a subject matter specialist in one of our causes, we will always brainstorm together and listen to your expert opinion to improve.
Yes, we summarize our activities by month, or in some cases, the quarterly report will be issued to all the members. We founded based on our core values, i.e. trust, integrity, and transparency.
